do their job ... 1. March 1976 Director Felix Kaczanowski has been moved into retirement and appointed to the psychiatry specialist (apparently it was a job created for him ...). Director she reached old age, he had trouble overcoming the stairs. Some say that it has become a mess ...

It was not suicide!

His death still arouses controversy among former employees of the hospital. Rumor about the alleged suicide of the director Felix Kaczanowski after years dispels Anna Śliwicka, which accurately remembers the day: "The Director's office was opposite the mine. That day I went to the theater. He came to me at four in the wort to brew. Calculate yourself how much it is enough sachets. He visited me often, very loved. Director of the evening drinking alcohol with a later chairman of the trade unions. Anyway, not the first time since his transfer to the new position, he'd get back to the office a little bit of rauszu. I saw two bottles, I do not remember whether it was pure, or some other alcohol, in any event, this second nothing happened. They drank in the office of the Director. Comrade director came out, how I learned about some human time. I was about ten. About half past eleven I heard a bang. I had no feeling ...
next day at eight o'clock in the morning came to my staff. First we saw the ladies Kaczanowski (wife of the director's daughter), which peered through the keyhole to his office. Then I ran Kaczanowski ladies and we started to look at it. I did not notice, because the doors were closed. It was not until my employee noticed something disturbing. Director of lying ... Zbiegliśmy the doctors. "

Shortly after the death of his wife, director committed suicide. She left a letter in which she wrote that her coffin to carry the Directors. Why? - Maybe ... better to leave this speculation. In one version had been told him to believe that it is they who have contributed to the death of her husband ...

with trivia on the life of Felix Kaczanowski need to add that there are views that allow users to MBP as an associate hospital to isolate political opponents. How was it - that, unfortunately, we do not know, one thing is certain, the director Kaczanowski was associated with Zenon Kliszką family, whose wife Anna was the sister of the director.

New Director

to the position of new chief executive was appointed in 1976 by Edward Krzeminski, a psychiatrist, a man of brilliant and representative. Deputy director for health care was Wojciech Moczulski. Change in directorate after more than 30 years of hospital management by Felix Kaczanowski, raised in an environment tworkowskim anxiety. Some doctors went away from work, unable to come to terms with the changes. Created new sections. Department was established, inter alia, alcohol treatment centers led by Dr. Christine MD Łęczycka. The newly formed department has developed treatments have been tested. Odwykowy Branch since 1976 has been converted into co-educational with 50 beds for men and 10 for women and divided into two subunits: a diagnostic and rehabilitation. Clinic is attached to addicts seeking department existing in the hospital since 1970, and organized club abstainers, bringing together former patients and their families. The hospital released the club premises and all activities financed from the fund antyalkoholowego. One of the most attractive events has become a two-week rest and rehabilitation STAY, held every year in the village holiday. The period of the seventies and eighties is characterized by stagnation of investment in the health sector, reflected in the housing stock in the hospital tworkowskim. In addition to overhaul the hospital is not enriched by new buildings. Failed to realize the plan of construction of the hotel employees. In the realm of promises and plans to join other Tworek to the municipal heating network. All the time functioned as a farm, declined substantially to 12 hectares in the complex tworkowskim and 51 ha in Pecice.
In 1978, the Hospital lost ponds for SGGW AR. School was the final liquidation of fruit trees and ornamental plants. The resulting surface area of \u200b\u200b5 hectares planted with apple and 2 acres of walnuts, which wymarzły during the harsh winter 1986/1987.

Launched by the director of organizational change Kaczanowski gave windfalls results. The number of patients staying in hospital began to decline steadily. It happened at the same time, because Tworki lost one after the other branch offices. Elimination of succession have been divisions in Serokach, Komorów, Pecice and end in January 1978 in Paprotnia. Since 1977 began reducing the number of beds in the hospital, gradually rising to 1,060 in 1982

social unrest of the late seventies and early eighties were echoed in the community Tworkowski. Emerged in different lines of ideological division. During the lively activities of Solidarity in the hospital were two unions. Postulates were thrown into a special box, meetings and discussions, but there were no strikes. From different sides came the news of the strife between workers and management. Calm in Tworki could be illusory, because the 9th June 1981 there were a referendum. Workers in the secret ballot had to face the question: "Would you like to continue to exercise the functions of the Director Team Edward Krzeminski - życzono themselves, so have ...
